Brain dead – you run out of idea.

Dead brain – you can never have idea. Like a pile of dead water, like the dead sea – finito.

Our marketing manager is a classic example of dead brain syndrome.

Based out of U.K., trying to run China marketing. Not that it’s not do-able. But when you are a single track minded person – forget about doing marketing in the entire Asia, not just China.

Asia by nature has high context culture - we don’t say what we think and think what we say. Lots of stuff are left unspoken coz it’s taken for granted.

In China, nothing is possible but yet impossible is nothing (thank you, Adidas, for coining this….). It’s all about how you frame the context and negotiate.

And when a dead brain marketeer is foolish and undiscerning enough to let a lazy closed minded local guide her blindness…good luck. Maybe soon you will be a “Adieus” and “Good Riddance”.
