I’m an average girl-next-door with a curious mind, a love for beauty, touching stories, art and heritage.
Heyzanie’s my pseudo name because I’m still very much a closet blogger at heart. So for those who know me in person, please pretend not to so that I may continue to rumble on boldly here.
I started writing the summer of 2008, during my vacation in Qingdao. Then the write-ups were everywhere….sometimes online on different sites, sometimes on a piece of napkin from a cafe. So I finally decided to get organized here.

A Qingdao artiste’s impression of me. (Summer, 2008)
I was born in the 70′s when Ronald Reagan was still young and handsome and Superman hadn’t fall from his horse.
A dreamy girl I was, my desire was to study mass communication, travel a lot and work as a DJ or a news broadcaster in different cities when I grow up. I somehow ended up studying business and get trapped in a rat race when I eventually did.
Having spent 7 years working and living in China, I took my fate back to home once again in March 2009.
I currently reside in Singapore
This is Heyzanie. Welcome to my world.
Luv, Heyzanie
