I decided to write about my near 7 years of life in China. During this span of period, I’ve lived mainly in Shanghai and spent about a year in Shenzhen.
We don’t have that many 7 youthful years in our life . It would be nice if I could still reminiscent about it and share it with people who are curious about it when I get old.

The trumpet player pumped out his jazz like a pipe piper. Blurry, dreamy and intoxicating were my Shanghai days.
Life in Shanghai in particular, was beyond colourful. If you were to have me describe Shanghai, it would be a big melting pot with colourful fusion of people around the world. The world congregated like a young universe in Shanghai. With a big bang, it is now ever expanding. In this new universe, you will find people and situations beyond imagination sometimes.
My China Gal Days is a series of recollections that runs in chronological order. I hope I could pen down my memories as quickly as possible before they get wiped out in time.
